Las Vegas (Money 2020), 24th October 2016 - Payments and mPOS leader Miura Systems today announced the launch of a comprehensive mobile SDK designed to offer developers a simple-to-use, best-in-class set of tools which will significantly reduce the time now taken for partners to deliver payment or retail solutions based upon the innovative Miura platform. This latest offering has been designed so that even developers with little payments or retail experience can take advantage and start integrating with Miura’s leading range of hardware today.
Architecting the SDK around a familiar mobile development environment ensures there are no new processes or features to learn, while out-of-the-box example projects show how easy it can be to plug in Miura payment or retail hardware to existing POS applications and take immediate advantage of all that Miura can offer. To help developers further, Miura has included example applications to demonstrate how the key components of both payment and retail services can be easily integrated into a mobile environment.
Unlike proprietary payment SDK’s that are traditionally complex in logic and structure, this is an SDK architected as a high level wrapper which can easily handle the dynamic nature of today’s mobile operating environments with synchronous, event driven interfaces that provide optimum performance without compromising the freedom of developers to customise and adapt how they integrate. Also included is an out-of-the-box turnkey test environment featuring Remote Key Injection and terminal configuration that are critical in the design and development of cost effective, operationally viable solutions.
With the new SDK developers no longer face lengthy project cycles and can start accelerating time-to-market of any solution, with no need to study up on EMV, payment transaction flows, key management or device configuration.
