Miura Systems at Money 20/20: Spreading the Word About Flexible Card Payments
As a fast-growing but relatively young company it’s always heartening to see what you’re doing validated by the broader industry. Miura Systems sold its first product just four years ago but we’ve always been hugely ambitious in our mission to enable businesses the world over to accept payments anywhere. That’s why we have provided Apple Pay support to our devices, so clients can offer shoppers even more ways to pay.
So it’s great to see that the upcoming agenda for Money 20/20 – the premier trade show for the payments industry – is dominated by mobile terminal payments and mPOS. We’ll certainly have a lot to talk about at the conference, so be sure to look us up if you’re there.
Leading the field
Money 20/20 is simply the largest breakout industry payments event in the world. Over 10,000 eager attendees including more than 1,000 CEOs will visit The Venetian in Las Vegas later this month to hear about the latest industry trends and innovations from over 550 speakers. There’ll be senior executives from Google, PayPal, Samsung Pay, Citigroup, NASDAQ and many more on hand to share the secrets of their success and what might be coming over the horizon.
This year it’s going to be hard to go anywhere in the conference centre without hearing about the exciting impact mobile payments and mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) technologies are having on the industry.
Research firm eMarketer will forecast where US mobile payments is headed in the next five years; GPShopper will reveal new research on mobile shopping apps; and there’ll be a look back at one year of Apple Pay. Industry leaders will discuss the POS platforms that SMBs need to drive multi-channel sales and there’ll also be presentations on tokenisation, the mobile wallet market in China, and how to streamline m-commerce.
Miura in Vegas
We’re incredibly excited to use the show this year to spread the word about Miura Systems. As a small UK technology company many attendees might not have heard of us. Yet 75% of the world’s leading providers use own-branded devices from Miura every day, including PayPal and Swedish payments firm iZettle.
In fact, our annual international sales over the past two years have grown over 250% to top $35m, and Miura is rapidly approaching yet another landmark: one million units sold in over 40 countries. It’s figures like these which recently got us placed in the top five of the inaugural Sunday Times BT Business SME Export Track 100, with some of the fastest growing overseas sales of any small or medium sized UK business.
We think our range of industry certified (PCI and EMV levels 1 and 2) devices offer a uniquely versatile choice for organisations of all sizes. Apart from providing a great customer experience, they’ve been designed to support a range of use cases. From the Shuttle – the world’s most successful chip and PIN device for micro merchants and business people on the move – the M010 for mobile, counter-top and in-store, there’s something for everyone. With fast, simple and secure payments we’ll help you maximise sales and ensure your customers keep coming back.
We’re particularly excited about the opportunity to help US businesses as they make the transition to EMV-enabled payments.
So look us up using the Money2020 app, drop by our stand (2362) if you’re at the show and let us explain how Miura Systems can support your business today.
