Payleven, a Miura customer, has announced the arrival of the first mobile chip and pin payment service in Europe – with merchants able to register for the device later this month.
Payleven’s ground-breaking ability to process chip and PIN cards, such as VISA, is based on the Miura Shuttle secure payment terminal and the Secure Core Linux Environment (MSCLE™). It is PCI PTS 3.0, SRED, UKCC and EMV-approved for on-line and off-line transactions.Several other companies will be launching mobile point of sale soon, as they take delivery of thousands of Miura devices.
