Miura Recruits Payments Industry Veteran Roger Kruger to Drive EMEA mPOS Partner Success
Former Cybersource senior director will take the reigns as Head of Partnerships
Mobile Point of Sales (mPOS), payments and POS leader Miura Systems is delighted to announce the appointment of Roger Kruger as its new EMEA Head of Partnerships in a move designed to help propel the firm to the next stage of growth in the region.
Kruger comes to Miura from Visa company CyberSource, leading global provider of credit card processing, fraud and security risk management solutions. There he gained invaluable experience building out partner and customer engagement strategies with some of the world’s biggest e-commerce players.
Kruger’s role at Miura will see him help the company build closer relationships within the partner community.

This should be driven by our ability to deliver platinum level service, understand our partner eco-system and engage at multiple levels across our partners’ organisational structure,” says Kruger. “It’s all about leveraging our high quality and unique products, and building a high performance team to expand on the already strong partnerships we have.”
There’ll be a definite focus on Europe, where Kruger believes there are still a great deal of untapped opportunities. But his team will also be looking to build on some great wins in Africa and the Middle East to strengthen key relationships there.
Kruger believes Miura Systems is in the perfect place to ride the current wave of excitement and growth in the mPOS industry and says he’ll be looking to inject even more urgency and drive into this expansion, which has already seen the company win major recognition.
Just earlier this month, Miura was placed high up on the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 – a long-running league table ranking Britain’s 100 private tech firms with the fastest growing sales over the past three years. Before joining CyberSource, Kruger was head of UK sales at payments processor epay, and before that held senior roles with cross border payments firm MTI, and First Rate Exchange Services, the UK’s largest supplier of foreign currency.
