Secure Retail, Europe’s leading distributor of secure Chip & PIN payment solutions, announces today that it is to launch a mobile BluetoothTM credit and debit card reader, the Miura Shuttle, as part of its bluechip portfolio of solutions.
From April 2013 onwards, the Shuttle from Miura Systems, a leading provider of innovative electronic payment hardware, will be available to Secure Retail’s customers across Europe.
The agreement will mean that merchants and their point of sale (PoS) providers of all sizes will be able to offer Miura’s Shuttle device without having to commit large order quantities, and will benefit from Secure Retail’s world-class asset tracking and management solutions.
Miura’s Shuttle is one of the world’s leading secure BluetoothTM Chip & PIN card readers for mobile smartphones and other wireless devices from leading brands including Apple and Samsung. It accepts payments from all major EMV debit and credit card issuers, such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express and is full of innovative features including its leading-edge OLED technology display and ReviveTM, their system restore feature.
Secure Retail has one of the world’s best track records for supplying secure payment solutions to the market. From April, customers will be able to place orders for the Shuttle with software loaded from Secure Retail’s own secure facilities. Managed service packages that combine the Shuttle with any approved mobile device will also be available.
