Miura at Money2020: Showing Off at the World’s Biggest Payments Event
Things can move pretty quickly in the payments industry. Few could have predicted at the start of the decade that mPOS would go mainstream as fast and far as it has – with businesses across the globe already benefitting from next generation technology platforms like ours. This rapid pace of change is even true of the conference scene. Money2020 has only been around four years, but is already the world’s biggest payments industry event, attracting over 10,000 attendees and 3,000+ companies from 75 countries.
This year Miura Systems is thrilled to be taking part, as we build upon a tremendous year so far and look to spearhead our push into the US market.
At the show
This isn’t Miura Systems’ first appearance at Money2020. But if anything we’ve got even more to shout about this year. M010: Hugely versatile payments device suitable for use in-store on the countertop or queue-busting away from the till, as well as out-and-about at pop-up and tactical events.
M007: Dynamic retail device designed to cope with traditional high volume checkout and next gen mobile payments wherever the customer is in the store.
Looking forward
It’s been a fantastic year so far for Miura Systems. We’ve seen the launch of the POSzle, the production of our millionth device, and our recognition by the British Small Business Awards, the Payments Awards and the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 – which ranks UK firms with the fastest growing sales over the past three years. Now we’re setting our sights on the US market, with the addition of industry veteran and Silicon Valley CEO Eric Dunn to our board and a new partnership with leading US distributor POSDATA.
We’re looking forward to building on these relationships, and our new North American distribution agreement with partner POSDATA Group, to get more of our industry leading hardware into the hands of US businesses over the next 12 months.
