Powering Partners and Delighting Customers at Money 20/20 Europe
Last week, as you might have seen, Miura Systems was on the road again, spreading the word about mPOS and our beautifully simple, secure and flexible payment products. This time it was across the North Sea for us to the Danish capital and Money 20/20 Europe – one of the newest, biggest and brightest industry shows around. I’m happy to say the enthusiasm of our team was amply matched by visitors to the Miura stand. But perhaps the most pleasing take away was seeing just how far our partnership network now stretches.
There’s still plenty of work to be done, but it’s great to see merchants and partners alike really beginning to understand the potential of mobile payments to transform their businesses.
On the floor
Money 20/20 Europe is the place to be for any cutting edge payments company, so of course we felt right at home there. And with over 3,000 attendees from 75 countries, we certainly had a busy week. What was nice about the event was that everyone we spoke to was well informed, highly motivated and really keen to find out more about how mPOS and Miura could help drive their business. The spacious, relaxed surroundings of Copenhagen’s Bella Center provided the perfect backdrop to some very open, focused and engaged discussions.
It was particularly heartening to see the reaction to our growing range of elegant, sophisticated payments hardware. There’s competition coming in from the lower and higher ends of the market, but these products either don’t have the range of functionality, which makes Miura stand out, or the ability to compete with us on price and sheer good looks. No other provider can be aspirational and affordable in quite the same way.
From the hugely popular Shuttle device – perfect for micro-merchants and retailers – to our M010 and M007 terminals, there’s really something for every size of business. Our new ITP all-in-one tablet POS and the recently launched POSzle attracted a great deal of attention – giving visitors a glimpse into the future of POS. Miura stood out in that it remains the only player that combines mobility and EMV and know-how.
Partnering for success
Perhaps one of the biggest surprises for us – although it really shouldn’t be by now – was just how far our reach extends thanks to a large and growing partner network.
It was great to see many of them there under one roof. We will continue to do what we do best – building powerful, secure and affordable mPOS and POS products that look great and work even better. But we need the power of our partner network to extend these out to the wider market in combination with their own mutually beneficial offerings.
With this kind of ecosystem we can really look forward to changing the world of payments. See you at next year’s show, and we’ll be posting information on any upcoming events where you can track us down when we get it.
